Recap: Kansas City vs. Arizona

Surprise, AZ (Sports Network) - Max Ramirez hit a grand slam and Billy Butler went 2-for-3 with three RBI, as the Royals pounded the Diamondbacks, 16-4, in Cactus League play.

Mike Moustakas had two hits and drove in a pair, while starter Chris Dwyer went 1 2/3 innings and gave up three runs -- two earned -- on one hit and three walks for Kansas City, which had 19 hits, 10 coming with runners in scoring position.

Adam Moore also hit a solo homer in the rout.

Randall Delgado, one of the players Arizona received from the Braves in the Justin Upton deal last month, was shelled for five runs -- four earned -- on six hits in his only inning of work.

John McDonald drove in a pair, while Rod Barajas went 2-for-2 with a run scored and an RBI in the loss.
