Boston, MA (Sports Network) - Guard/forward Terrence Williams has signed a 10- day contract with the Boston Celtics, the team announced Wednesday.
The 6-foot-6 Williams competed for the Guangdong Southern Tigers in the Chinese Basketball Association this season. In 29 games, he averaged 17.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.2 steals.
The 11th pick in the 2009 NBA Draft, Williams has recorded an average of 7.6 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 129 games between New Jersey, Houston and Sacramento.
