Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - The Philadelphia Eagles continued to reshape their defensive corps on Thursday, singing linebacker Connor Barwin to a six-year deal.

The 26-year-old totaled 44 tackles and three sacks in 16 games for the Houston Texans a season ago.

In four years with the franchise, the Cincinnati product and Michigan native has compiled 109 tackles and 19 sacks -- second on the franchise list -- in 49 appearances.

Earlier in the day, the Birds announced the signings of cornerback Cary Williams and safety Kenny Phillips.
